Marge Shipman - Ship Shape Designs

Ahoy, I'm Marge Shipman. Owner/Designer of Ship Shape Designs�. I'm a Work at home mom to three beautiful children. Being a Mom is my #1 job. Nicholas is my oldest, born in 2001, and my twin boy & girl, Alexander and Aurora, born in 2004. I work 3 jobs from home, including Ship Shape Designs. I married my first mate in 2000, and was diagnosed with an rare auto-immune disease. I'm obsessed with Disney, and Pirates. If you want to see my true obsession for Pirates, check out my Myspace.

I got interested in Web and Graphic design, in 1998. Where I made my first website. For your enjoyment, here is a peak at my second website. I haven't changed it since about 2002. My first website has been deleted and was actually created in 1998. It was a wedding announcement site. As you can see over the years I've grown as a Designer and a person. I've learned and experienced things I never would have imagined with Ship Shape Designs.

I come from a great family. My grandparents both artists and father as well, have amazing artistic abilities. While I can't for the life of me outside of a computer draw really anything but stick figures, I am able to create art online. I'm a pirate fan, if you haven't noticed. Born and raised a Dabling and forever will be by heart, but in 2000 I became a true lady of the sea, a Shipman.

My Dreams and ambitions, are crazy for sure, but not unreachable. I wish to someday help in teaching more people about my auto immune disease, Wegener's Granulomatosis. I also hope to be able to help aide in the research to help discover a cure.

I want to be be able to take my family to Disneyland every couple of years or vacations to the Zoo and other exciting places. I hope to someday be able and help find and afford a dream home to raise our family in.

Then the craziest of them all, someday be able to meet, Johnny Depp, or Jeffrey Rush, or anyone from the Pirates of the Caribbean crew. But for now we are a big happy family, who has so much love. That's what is most important.

My family is my inspiration, and motivation. Ship Shape Designs, has allowed me to work at home and be with my children, and help support our family financially. We get by, but what keeps us smiles is the love. I hope you've enjoyed reading about me, and getting to know me better.
